Pottery!

Pottery that turns my illustrations into a functional item. How could I not? The best thing about pottery is the satisfaction through every step of the process. Plus, seeing someone enjoy it just as much as I do!

I typically use a speckled stoneware clay, thrown on the wheel, and sketched on with an underglaze, fired, and glazed clear, before the final firing.

In my studio, I have been experimenting with white and speckled stoneware together to create a subtle spiral. I have a mix of successes! The day I master it will be a beautiful one.
