A little about me… 

Hello! My name is Sadie, I am an illustrator & potter based out of Rochester, New York. I have a BFA in Animation/Illustration. The illustration industry called to me because of its ability to make a difference. I illustrate because I want to help others share the stories that are important to them! The idea of making a difference in someone’s life, or even just creating a small happy moment in a reader’s long journey, is all I need to continue storytelling.

I picked up throwing during my last year of college and have been hooked ever since. The idea of making something that will last forever is very intriguing to me. Imagine if archaeologists in 500 years discover my pots in the dirt; that would be wild! I enjoy the entire process of pottery creation, from start to finish. Every step has its own challenges and rewards. I am constantly learning and building up my skills with every project.

​FUN FACTS:
- Currently working digitally in Procreate, though I love to work with traditional mediums such as Copic markers and Prismacolor pencils.
- Short animated films are my go to for entertainment, oddly enough, the saddest plots interest me the most.
- My top 3 favorite artists right now are Corah Louise, Gabriel Picolo, and Tom Booth.
